Mouse and Keyboard control scheme is completely terrible.
The UI controls are completely unintuitive, why is TAB the settings menu and not ESC. If you're going to use completly unintuitive UI controls you should at least let the player change them. The controls also seem to be inconsistent, some things like using items work using space and other times when I want to enter a setting I press space and it brings me to the quit game section. The whole UI system is a complete mess and needs a lot of work. The actual design is ok, but the way the player interacts with it is completely unintuitive and feels like it was setup in 10 minutes of work.

As for gameplay controls, why can you not change them? I shouldn't have to setup a custom profile for my keyboard to be able to play with the control scheme I want. Additionally, it's nice that you separated sprint and dodge on M/KB, but for some reason dodge is still set to be on button release rather than button press. This is completely pointless since sprint and dodge are on separate keys and also makes it horrible to use since button release adds a noticeable amount of unnecessary input lag.

Also, Inverted vertical control means that when you move the mouse up, the camera moves down. The standard in non-flight related gaming is for the vertical camera to be set to normal and not inverted. You seem to have replaced the two terms and not only is the default in this game inverted, it's called normal instead. Also, the locked on camera is way too low, I was testing it on the first 3 enemies you encounter and when locked on they are completely blocked by the player character.

Didn't even bother going past the first boss since I don't want to torture myself with a horrible control scheme just to play a game I would refund immediately if it released like this.

what i do i have problem that the camera move up and down or left or right i am continue beazy walking strait like i am a baby
How can they miss this
Even with xbox controller i have ths problem

Very strange default keyboard scheme. Completely different from every other soulslike. Strange choice when hard-coding it. Also inverted mouse that you can't disable? Yeah, unplayable.

I only use mouse and KB despite so may people telling me I was insane to do this with souls games. But this one is really bordering on unplayable, it has potential but I wouldn't have even released a demo at this point as its not really ready yet imo

You can disable the inverted vertical mouse by going into: [username]\AppData\Local\Enotria\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings and changing "CameraYAxisInverted=False" to "CameraYAxisInverted=True".
But it doesn't help much when I die on every other enemy because I end up parrying instead of locking on, healing instead of jumping, or jumping instead of dodging. By now the From Software control scheme is burned into my brain, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Am i missing something with the camera controls? The view seems completely locked in a single direction. Even with max sensitivity I have to drag the mouse across my desk multiple times to view the character from a different angle. Is middle mouse the only way to change view? Because this makes combat and even moving around really unintuitive. I cant look around to get a view of incoming enemies, nor can I admire the beautiful scenery.

Its randomly locked for me and often locked facing my own character from a weird angle. I noticed if I toggle lock on and off it will reset once a character is in my FOV but once they die it is like it locks on to something random nearby but the camera just randomly fixes in a weird place.

It became literally unplayable for me so I gave up

Not saying that it's intuitive but I personally give the no control editing the benefit of the doubt because it's a demo. Now if it remains this way when it's released, then I'll be annoyed but for now I don't think it's worth calling this game unplayable or anything. As far as the gameplay itself goes, yes it could obviously use polishing but that's also why it's a demo but the mechanics themselves I really do enjoy

Wow this control scheme was just implemented to antagonize mnk players? Just put "Keyboard not supported", or at least controller in the minimum reqs, but this is just malicious lol

Mouse and keyboard is definetly horrible, I played many soulslikes but this one was the worst, combined with inverted or clunky whatever camera/mouse rotation.
I know its demo but would it be a massive coding or budget issue to let the player configure their keybinds?
Mouse and keyboard soulslike is very very possible, just not in this game, it is beyond horrible and I would laugh hard if they release it later in this state.
Sell your games to consoles only if you can't even get these basics together.

I too find it impossible to play with controls they've given us for m&k the dodge button being alt makes it really hard for me to press to the point it's just gonna uncomfortably strain my wrist and hand. There needs to be button remapping if they don't then it's just pushing me away from wanting to play.
