Doesn't the fact to fall would put you out of the race ?

Just a quick question i'm kinda new to this game series (barely played 20 and 21) but one thing that always bothered me is that hen you go on accident you are free to continue the race anyway ... when IRL, you will most certainly being out ...

The IA seem to rarely crash and the physics of their bikes seem to be totaly different than the player, I mean during the race in Italia I saw some IA's going to large after the long straight line, going into rubbles, taking the curve when being into the rubbles and being all fine ...

So the only thing really that I ask is ; does the IA can fall and being out of the race because of the damage ?

"Realistic" damage are activated but even when I fall it don't seem to matter much.

I can't say whether the AI take damage, but in real life GP you are allowed to continue after a crash, just as long as the bike is still safe.

Seem kinda rare to see the bike going again in real life GP ?

This is one of my biggest gripes with the games aswell. Kind of take much of the excitement of racing away. I went back to motogp 21 and will not bother with anymore motogp games until something changes

I even did not bother to try it out, I knew it is bad. MotoGP21 is much better, AI after crash stayed off the track (til respawn) 20 secs, also losing time, 100x more realistic. Now series are going backwards... I am shocked so many people do not care about such realism, riders running to pick up the bikes etc... Also sun is the wrong direction at many tracks, awful to see the sun shining from northwest at Barcelona, totally wrong.

I also just wanted to ask, no AI DNF in this game??
Bike damage is on, I did many races never seen even one DNF, not even in rain.

Or they are waiting to advertise DNF as the `new feature!` in motoGP26 game? ???
You can crash directly to the wall full speed, maybe 10 times until damaged.

I have been asking for this for years. And it really isn't hard to implement. There should be an option where the AI or player automatically retires if they crash...I hate the fact that after an AI crashes, they get back on the bike way quicker that the player does. In fact, I hate the fact that the AI seem to be on a completely different engine to the player, physics included. They get faster corner speed and a greater lean angle...♥♥♥♥ is so broken

Yeah i'll be off the game too, I'll never bought a new moto GP unless it's sold to another compagny who actually care.

I'm sticking to MotoGP 2021 also cause of the bike retrieval and when the CPU falls down it take like 20 seconds to repawn. It's simple things like these that add immersion. So silly and lazy they took that feature out. 2022 has bike retrieval but the CPU respawns instantly so forget that game.
