Hm, this game was released in 2009 and I wonder if your code is still valid. Firstly, are there any instructions on how to redeem it? Secondly, are you sure it's for this game and not for LEGO Batman 2?
I got the code from a Dark Knight rises set that was released in 2013 giving out free copies of this game. it said to activate product code on steam, yet i've tried every variotion of the letters and numbers and it says invalid code....
should add it says it expires end of this year.
OK, you need to contact Steam support then.
I had the same problem, with a different LEGO product and a different LEGO Game (LEGO Batman) I made contact with LEGO and they sent me a new code. Now it works perfectly.
I contacted Steam Support they said that the code doesn't even work with steam, I will try to contact lego and see what they say. i mean I have a whole year.
My son received a lego set for his birthday, & we are facing the same issue. Tried switching the 0 for O and still same invalid code message. I feel like we got screwed.
Likewise, I am trying to activate this game for my 5 year old nephews. The card has a code in the form of 12345-ABCDWXYZ, which doesn't seem to be a valid Steam code. The date of expiration is December of 2014, so its not an expired code issue.

A little frustrating than the typical issue because its hard to go back on promises to your 5 year old nephews on being allowed to play a game. :(
I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that is having this problem. Guess I'll be contacting Lego for a new code.

I'm not sure the problem I was told by steam to contact warner bros, but they couldn't do anything. According to steam they don't even accept product codes for that game... honestly somewhere someone made a goof thinking this would work out of package.
Steam told me to get in touch with WB, WB told me to contact LEGO.

LEGO sent me a valid code within 24 hours.
Awesome, will have to contact Lego ASAP
I was emailed a code today in response to my code being a non-steam code. The code that Lege emailed me was already activated to another Steam account though! I think they are trying, but somehow something is being lost in translation.
Somewhere, I feel like Lego just assumed Steam would be able to activate it or the pormotion wasn't figured out well enough.
