Broken minikit 6-2 biplane blast

So there's this minikit where you're supposed to shoot the joker billboards 3 times and then things are supposed to come out and when you shoot those you get the minikit. i've tried everything but every time i attempt this minikit nothing happens after i shoot all 3 jokers. has anyone else gotten this bug?

update: i managed to fix it, here's a tutorial for anyone that comes across this post in the future: hit all the joker faces in the order of 2, then 3, then 1. wait 10 seconds and switch to the joker's helicopter. the cages should appear and once you shoot all 3 you'll get the minikit automatically.
