"Enterprising Theft" - How can I move the robot ? (Keyboard)

Hello,

My son plays this game and is stuck ith the robot, and can't move it - pressing on directional buttons the robot walks in the same place (moonwalks???) but doesn't move. Pressing the other buttons - U HJK - doesn't change a thing.
Any offers ?

There's a thread from a few weeks back about someone having problems getting the green car to move. They apparently fixed that by going into the video settings in the game and turning on VSync. If you don't have that on, you could try that.

Sorry for the late reply, I signed off. Basically, I insisted and push direction buttons all around, untul it move, and never left it until we broke what we needed

You're welcome. But to give credit where it's due, I wasn't the one that found that. Someone else posted that solution, and I was just passing it on.

I'm not sure if anyone is still using this thread, but I've tried to switch v-sync on and it won't let me. I can't progress through the game without being able to move the robot. Another issue I'm having is getting Mr. Freeze and a couple other characters to jump up onto ledges, they make a hopping motion instead.

Sorry, but I don't know what would prevent you from turning V-Sync on. Maybe some setting in your video card drivers?

I've got no clue, I just bought an Alienware Alpha console. These are supposed to be pretty good, so I have no idea why the video card driver would prevent me from clicking a button on the game. I'm going to try the un-install / re-install thing and see if that helps.

I turned all the graphics to default, then turned on vsync, and it fixed it for me.
