lego batman "there she goes again" ....stuck robot

I am having a issue with the game play and the mini car (remote car). On the Level "there she goes again" there is a roof top garden which requires driving the remote control car over top two switches.

After looking thru forms I have found information about turning on vsync, which did not fix the problem as I am able to control the car just not able to get it to ride up on the switches themselves. anyone have a suggestion as to what else could fix this problem ... I dont want to returne the game as I was enjoying it but I am at a lose for what to do to make it so I can play.

I have the same problem. I can't even turn on Vsync in the menu, it just won't let me select it.
