on the rocks is softlocking me

i'm trying to do the riddlers revenge on the villain side, but every time i attempt mr. Freezes level, it keeps softlocking. the buttons are glitching that open the end of the level, and it's consistent. i've replayed the level 5 times to try and beat it, but nothing is working

I don't know if this will help, but I have a couple of suggestions:

Have Steam verify the game files.

Make sure that V-Sync is turned on. Playing this game without V-Sync can affect how some objects in the game interact. I don't recall anyone mentioning that specific problem before, but it has been known to cause a number of other issues. Note that some things can override the V-Sync setting in the game, so you might want to have Steam, or something else, display the frame rate, to make sure that it matches the rate shown in the game settings.
