If that does not fix the problem, you can have Steam check the game files. Right-click on the game in your Steam library, select Properties and then click "Verify integrity ..." on the "Local Files" tab.
If you still want to remove the game and reinstall it, you can right-click on the game and select "Delete local content".
J'ai une autre question: si je supprime un jeu steam, puis-je le réinstaller sans devoir le racheter?
Edited to add:
Note that if you install a game on more than one computer, you may need to manually copy the user data for the game, like "save" files, from one computer to the other. If a game does not use the Steam cloud, any progress that you make in the game on one computer will not show up on the other computer, unless you manually copy the required files. Unfortunately, different games store their data in different places, so there is no set place to find it.
FWIW, I do not know if Lego Batman uses the Steam cloud, but it seems to store its data in
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO Batman
The exact path may depend on which version of Windows you are using. If you can't find it, you can try searching your system for something like warner or lego.
