Snow plow in Arctic World can't drive up steps
I've previously beat this level, but got frustrated trying to get the minikit from the slide on this mission. I left it for a while and came back, but now I'm unable to get the plow up the steps at the end of the first area in order to break the ice. I've tried driving it up at various angles and positions on the stairs, pushing it up from outside, etc., but nothing I do improves the situation. Suggestions?

Try going into the game settings and turning Vsync on. Others have reported problems controlling vehicles in the game and that seemed to fix it.

Can't speak for anyone else, but this worked for me.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Maybe it's a visual thing, where, with V-Sync off, things may not be exactly where they appear to be on screen, so things aren't lined up the way that you think they are. Or maybe it's deeper than that and having V-Sync off somehow affects the code. I don't know.

Likely what's happening is that physics are calculated every frame, so differences in framerate will affect the physics. Pinning it to a lower framerate will keep the physics calculations from getting too far away from what the developers had tested with.

Could be. I've never tried to program a game, so I don't know exactly how that stuff works. :happymeat:
