Not being able to use Robin's ability with tech/transmitter suit

Im playing Lego Batman 1 and im in the Killer Moth level where youre in the club where you have to use Robins's transmitter/tech suit and it just wont let me use his ability. Batmans Demo suit works fine and i can use his ability but Robins wont work even though im using the correct suit. Has anyone else had this problem? i dont want to have to go back and restart the whole level.

Just got there myself and I think you're missing that there's a puzzle in the room you have to do first. I thought there was a vsync issue for ages until I realised I was just not up to that bit yet lol.

Take a look at the dance floor and see if any of the squares look different. Hopefully you can work it out from there but I'm happy to put in the solution if you need it (it's really not hard lol). There will be a mini cutscene and then it will be obvious what the tech suit will control.
