Black screen

This solution applies to people who started the game and saw a black screen but heard the game audio.
The solution I found was very complicated but what I did was I downloaded a Custom Resolution Utility Program since my laptop only allowed 144hz. Then once that was downloaded I added a custom resolution set to 1920*1080 (which is what my laptop is normally) and then 60hz. Doing this allowed me to go into my computer settings and change back and forth from 60hz and 144hz whenever I wanted (you might have to restart for this to start working) then from that point I went into the PCconfig txt file in the lego batman files and change my screen width to 1920 and screen height to 1080. After that I started the game and the black screen no longer appeared. When you are done with the game you can exit out and change back to 144hz so everything else functions as normal. This might not apply to everyone but I hope it is helpful to at least someone.
