Came here to say that. Joy2key or any similar programs like Xpadder will work to let you play games with a controller when previously you cannot. I've done this for many games I felt like playing with a controller, including first person games and MMO's (though I just did it to see if I could, I don't play FPS or MMO's with a controller).
The only games I can think of that need controller support would be diablo-like games: Path of Exile, Torchlight, etc. I would much prefer to play those with a controller but cannot emulate them with a controller due to the fact you have to move with mouse clicking.

Controller support is only for the PSVita and PS3 versions.
Okay, miss out on a great game because you can't readjust to a control method for a couple of hours.
