Shotgun Tower's Actual Damage

Just a random thought, did anyone figure out the actual damage value of a Shotgun tower? It's description on the help section lists slow factor as if it's like a goo tower, but no damage. I would assume based on the price that it's equal to a Flame Tower but from what I see it at max upgrade does slightly more than an un-upgraded mortar tower. Thoughts?
