>A Grandes Rasgos:
Este jueguito es un RTS/Tower defense/sandbox/multiplayer raro... en el cual encarnamos un cerebrito que tiene que destruir al cerebrito rival de cada mapa, para ello tiene entre cositas: robots, zombis, mechas, y torretitas a su mando, como un RTS tienes que juntar recursos con tus unidades para comprar mas unidades... como un tower defense debes de cuidar a toda costa tu "base" y como sandbox, el mapita es modificable.

>Lo Bueno:
-Es un titulo con gran variedad de unidades y "crafteos"... la magia del titulo es ver que hace cada cosita.
-Tiene un gameplay solido, perooo.... sus propios controles y mecanicas lo tiran abajo(puntualizare esto mejor abajo).
-Apenas y pesa algo, en cuanto especs se refiere.

>Lo Malo:
-El gameplay es muy "cuadrado" y poco intuitivo xD el pathing de las unidades es tonto, al igual que sus IA's es mejor manejarlas de forma personal, lo que no es muy bonito por tener tantos controles y tan mal implementados.
-La Campaña esta meh, es mas para cumplir, que es un titulo encaminado al multiplayer, y parece que no esta acabado.
-Idem del Multiplayer: para que un titulo multiplayer sea bueno, tiene que tener: jugadores ; cosa que este no tiene xD

Pues es un titulo promedio 5/10 mas encaminado al multijugador que otra cosa... no es un mal titulo, pero tampoco uno bueno, sus pesimos controles y mecanicas lo tiran abajo; recomendado solo si piensas jugarlo con algunos amigos, y este en descuento (que llega a valer un decimo de su precio con esté).

La primera carga es lenta, el tutorial es diferente al juego, conduces robots matas y eso, pero luego en la campaña cambia de modo de juego como si fuera un simulador de recursos, basura

Good:
- Drowning in good ideas, style, AND substance
- Neat if low-key back story
- Art style abounds in personality
- Everything, and I do mean everything, is accessbile to modders, if you can wrap your head around it
- Dropping exploding robots on people never gets old
- Must have been an absolute nightmare to program given the 2^n points of articulation, never mind AI and automatic base building system. An example of hard graft in the coding realm paying off but..

Bad:
- ... an ordeal to play due to UI decisions to the point that all of the good is wrecked by this ONE element. To give you an idea of how bad, because I actually like the game, I ended up spending 6 hours learning a new programming language to fix some of it. It only slightly helped.
- Campaign is a case for trial and error, but once you get one good corner on the AI, you've won, everything else is paperwork. I'd imagine PVP would go the same way
- No networked multiplayer. The opening screen says "Play With Your Friends on a big TV" which is frankly insulting.

Debatable:
- While the 'models' move rather slowly, there's something to be said for pacing and tension so while I don't particularly like it, it's crucial to the feel and good parts of the game
- Having dug deep into the code now and seeing how much depth and variety is involved, the lack of meaningful in-game explanation lets the game down. A gun might be quantifiably better than some other gun, but the only way you'll find out is by trial and error. It does mean there's lots to find, but you have to want it.
- Some issues with terrain deformation, but frankly I can live with it seeing as terrain deformation is rarely this well executed, at least conceptually

This ate 5 hrs of me in one sitting so it was doing something right, but the end effect was pain in the wrists, not a sense of having had a good time. If the devs learned from this and fixed the 'user experience' component for their new game, I would absolutely reccomend getting it.

This game has so many glaring issues, but overall it's still oddly kind of fun and shows considerable promise, so I'm going to recommend it. just... in the future, okay?


Here's a very brief, very-non-exclusive list of issues i've discovered while playing this:
* Long startup time, mostly annoying because it's...
* Prone to crashes
* "Clunky" is an understatement; the physics and movement are absolutely the worst I've ever seen -- far worse than even Family Dog.
* There's no mouse cursor, yet everything you do depends on it. From walking to flying to shooting to switching bodies, it involves a lot of guesswork.
* A single pixel of rock floating in midair can block your movement, but good luck mining/shooting it!
* Movement is infuriatingly slow and imprecise
* Successfully climbing out of a hole feels like you won the gold (or at least silver) at the Olympics.
* The pause menu includes an uninterruptable animation that lasts for what feels like fifteen seconds.
* The game lags horribly (like, 3% speed) from random, seemily innocuous events like two crabs walking up an incline.

Truly, this game is an exercise in frustration. Not because of accidental deaths when drop pods bounce at unexpected angles and crush you -- that's just amusing -- but the inability to climb out of a hole, randomly flying backwards no matter what you try... just making the game do what you want it to is more difficult than any of the challenges you'll face.


Once the developer fixes the veritable swarm of user experience papercuts (and punches), it will actually be a very fun game. But, sadly, today is not that day!

I am not one to leave negative recommendations on games, ever. However this game is priced at 20 dollars, and the head developer himself said it wasn't even polished. This game has long since been abandoned and should NEVER be bought for the listing price. If you wanna give it a go, google Cortex Command Community Project and download that, it's free and much better than this version.
