Set desktop's native resolution in game options and press Alt+Enter? Works for me.

I do the same, but after that I have a strange visual effect: my screen flicker in fuschia/purple often ... Do you have the same problem kranky?

change to something like 800x600 or other 4:3 resolutions
then alt+enter, change res again to your native and restart the game.

I'm using a 1920x1200 10.6.8 Mac, and I had a few incompatibilities with the resolution as well. The 960x600 worked fairly well for me. You might have to expirement with a few. I'm sure data is working on it as we speak.

Go into the "Steam\steamapps\common\Cortex Command\Base.rte" folder and open the settings.ini file with a text editor. Change the resolutionX and resolutionY settings to what you want and change the 0 to a 1 on fullscreen. Save the file and start the game.

Just a heads up, nothing scales so all the text and icons will stay the same size.

thanks for the info, but changing fullscreen from 0 to 1 stil lets the game crash right at the begining...
at least now i can change the resolution to match my screen, so it is better then before :)

Changing the settings (fullscreen from 0 to 1) has worked for me so far. I'll have to see if the game is any more fun now...

havent played this game since the year i posted this, maybe go check the official forums?

well i just found one thing, every time i close the game it reverts itself to original resolution no matter what i do, so i guess this is the cause of my problems, now how to make it stop changing resolution... also im talking about resolution in settings basse folder

Game has lots of issues on mac, takes tweaking to find a resolution that works fullscreen and if I play in windowed mode, it doesn't capture the mouse properly and makes it unplayable. Also it crashed a lot once I finally found a resolution that worked. Pity because it looked like a cool game.
