please work on these problems...
Practically nothing is explained, and that is extremely frustrating

Why can't I choose a landing party when attacking a site? Totally sick of landing with a worthless brainbot and some trashcan bot that both immediately get killed by enemies camping all over the map.

Is there not a way to cancel out of the buy menu?

Unit I'm currently controlling runs in some random direction while the buy menu is open, and there's no way I see to cancel the buy menu.

Units can't do something so simple and necessary as consistently walking on the ground rather than digging into it with their movement. Non-infantry are especially awful about this.

How the hell do I equip units with weapons during base design? Just put something near them and hope they pick it up?

Attacking an enemy base during campaign basically becomes impossible 'cause they just spam uber units all over the map and they shoot the dropship down before the dumb wimpy initial units can even get out, which is complete bs btw.

How can I command a group of units to do something? What's even the point of building multiple units if I can't say "hey you 4, go over that way".

Why is AI on the defensive super aggressive? Soon as my dropship comes on screen it's either getting shot down by enemies covering the map, or as soon as my wimpy brain + trashcan pop out their getting exploded cause SUPER AI has a bunch of infantry there in 5 seconds before I can even begin to do anything.

What's even the point of base building if everything can just tunnel right through all intervening obstacles?

I'm really trying to like this, but the controls seem absolutely awful and unintuitive combined with the fact that NOTHING AT ALL is explained.

1-No response

2-Right click somewhere else

3-Read 2. Also, change the AI mode if you wish by right clicking and selecting some AI mode

4-Use jetpack more often.

5-Not sure.

6-No response.

7-Defense?

8-No response

9-Digging takes time, and I'm pretty sure that unless you have a certain digger that is REALLY slow the base walls are invencible.

i'll do what the above is doing

1. you can choose a landing party! just select a few soldiers with weapons (make sure the desired weapon is under the body)

2. just right click with your cursor out of the buy menu... you need common sense, boy

3. again, use your common sense to right click out of the buy menu. also, you can hold right click while controlling a unit to open up a pie menu, which has their behavior modes.

4. the digging behavior tends to be a little dumb sometimes, but you can fix that by setting their waypoints on the pie menu.

5. put it right under their feet. most times, they pick it up, but they might not if you do it sloppily.

6. i suggest you use drop crates instead of dropships for assaulting a base. not only are they cheap, but the enemy's AA can't possible blow those out of the sky!

7. switch your control to a unit and hold RMB to open the pie menu and set their waypoint. do this for all units you are planning to assault the base with.

8. when your brain deploys, use the digger to get underground immediately. this is imperative for your protection. the trashcan bot is actually an anti-air bot which has automatic missiles to shoot enemy craft down.

9. not everything tunnels through all obstacles. what, did you download a mod that rapes the terrain?

in conclusion, this game has a pretty steep learning curve, and the tutorial mission can help when you read the screens that say information. i suggest you have patients for this game.

1. I can choose the landing party that initially drops down when attacking? ...where? How do I choose a drop crate?

This is what I'm getting at! I'm really trying to like this game and it has a lot going for it - but damn I'm having to hit the forums to learn such basic stuff!

Use the buy menu by right-clicking and selecting "buy menu". Look for craft in the buy menu. Whatever craft you select will be the craft that delivers the stuff that you select.

You can choose the actors and how they're equipped by selecting the actors in the buy menu, and selecting their equipment immediately afterwards.

Format is layed out like this example:
Actor 1 Weapon 1 Weapon 2 Digger Actor 2 Weapon 3 Weapon 4 Actor 3 Weapon 5 Weapon 6 Weapon 7

This would make Actor 1 equipped with Weapons 1 and 2 and a digger. Actor 2 would be equipped with Weapons 3 and 4. Actor 3 would be equipped with Weapons 5, 6, and 7.

Yes, the interface is very amateurish and inconvenient. Just mess with it for a while.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about when you're invading a territory, not afterwards. He means the drop ship, with your brain and turret. As far as I know there's no way to change that.

Awww...bummer. Yea I was referring to the initial landing party that drops when you're attacking an enemy controlled site.

Oh, I see. Well at least you can call in reinforcements immediately after the match starts.

The game is a bit hard at the start just play a while ull get use to it fast i think, well in my case that it a good trick to when u invade hold ure Q key and take control of ure spaceship and ram stuff with it XD like the enemy ship or if he got sentry u might manged to ram them before they shoot u down and while u do that just command ure brain to dig they always dig to hide so yeah , then just buy troop to protect and stuff usualy computer runs out of money before u really easely. well mods can help a lot to, ^^ some mods have cheaper and more effective troops or weapon, or fix somestuff u dont like i got a mod to which i dont remember the name that adds some units to the brain landing party it pretty handy to invade and stuff and yeah once u figure out what u like char, and weapons u find them pretty fast and u can make up ure team a lot faster.
