Anyways, here are all ideas I can think of:
-Install 1/3/10/X mods. Several games, including Civilization 5 and Torchlight, similiarly have multiple achievements dedicated to mod usage. Since the Workshop is bound to come out together with the update, I'm sure that's a good option to promote it.
-Basic achievements for new players, like "Fully play a campaign" or "Play any scenario". I don't know why people put those in their games, but these are extremely common.
-Some witty punchline achievements for scenarios, like "Crab sticks" for First signs or "Dummied out" for Dummy Fortress. Once again just something super common when it comes to achievements seen in other games. Not that I'm low on personal idea, ya'know, it's just that reinventing the bike might be a wasteful activity.
-I'd recommend avoiding creating a mod submission related achivements, since in best case you'll have to remove blank, trash mods from the workshop just once a week.
-Some game feature promoting mods, I guess. Like one that you get for playing 4 player campaign with splitscreen.
edit:
Yeah, definitely.
Though the crashing the game achievement sounds pretty easy... on other hand, I'm pretty sure Dungeons of Dredmor has something like that, and it also has a pretty witty description!
These have just gone life JUST THIS SECOND. :D

Complete dummy fortress with only 3 deaths
Land on an enemy
Crash 3 or more spacecrafts at the same time
Kill an enemy with the chainsaw
Shoot across the entire map and hit (if still possible).
Do not touch the ground for x amount of time
Kill the enemy brain with your brain
Kill an enemy without weapons
I would rather prefer Goals for all the smaller gamesmodes like survive x amount of time(on normal or higher).
One could run a death count check however after the battle is over.
Brain health check would also be possible I suppose, since they are already identified as brains and not regular gib fodder.
-Kill a dropship with a soldier without limbs, and only a jetpack
"...Okay, I'm done."
-Have said above happen, and manage to kill atleast 3 enemys with the falling dropship.
"OH GOD MY SIDES"
-Kill the enemy brain with his own Delivery.
-Kill the enemy brain bot by ramming it with your brain bot and surviving.
My favourite ^^
-Kill an enemy actor by having them ram into your brain jar and surviving.
-Use the power of free Crabs.
