3. It has the best gameplay, best use of enemies, and is the most spectacular.

I've also come to really appreciate it for being largely self-contained, with really high production values, in the time right before games started needing 10 DLCs, their separate launchers, yearly installments, expanded universes, mega celebrities voicing all the characters, and so on.

Crysis 2 I really like because of the narration and world.

I haven't finished 3 yet, but I really enjoyed 2 as well. I thought the Warhead campaign was better than Crysis 1.
I love them all. 3 has great game play, and good use of enemies. And a very enjoyable edition.

I've really enjoyed Crysis 3 so far, but I'm not very deep into the game yet. At least I don't think so, because I've seen people write that it is quite a short campaign. Is this true?

First time through, you're looking at around 10-12 hours, which is short, but not that short.

Ah, that seems a pretty decent length to me (that's what SHE said), and I did get the whole series for under £4.00, so all good my friend, thanks.

One thing I really liked about Crysis 1 is how different the Ceph and human enemies felt.
Their projectiles were slower but more accurate and damaging than bullets, which meant that while you had to use cover effectively for human enemies, you were forced to move and strafe to survive the Ceph. Getting killed over and over while in cover or using armor mode, then becoming untouchable when using speed mode made fighting the Ceph such a unique change in gameplay.

The ceph in Crysis 2 did encourage mobility by moving around and using melee attacks, but didn't change the gameplay as much since they also used cover and had faster projectiles.

I loved all 4 games.
Enjoyed all, but probably 3. Just like the environment the best and the upgrade modules.
