Crysis 3 Remastered LOW FPS HIGH END PC

Both crysis 1 & 2 ran flawlessly (almost) and am on one the opening missions in the grass fields with the dome thing (CRYSIS 3). Upon starting this mission i get around 40-60fps on max settings 1440p, but even with everything down to lowest i only get around 80fps, does not look good on a 144hz monitor. I have an RTX 4080 paired with a 7900x, I've seen others benchmark this game on the exact same level with a 4080 and somewhat similar CPUs getting great fps. No clue in the world as to why this is happening, I turned it upto 4k for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles to see what happens and there is no difference (MAX 40-60fps LOWEST around 80fps). Has anyone else encountered similar issues?

Dude, is a known issue with from Crysis 3, you need to active in nvidia panel control "fast sync"

This is most likely the solution. Hopefully that'll solve it for OP too. It significantly improved my performance of the game.
