How do you think the MaldoHD textures hold up compared to the remastered edition. 10 years ago, I thought those Maldo textures were absolutely next level.

Because they made almost every asset in the game 2k or 4k, up from tiny xbox360 640x480 assets. Who even cares about 'bloat' in the year 2024?
However the remaster has an advantage when it comes to objects. For example the green military crates with netting look so much better both in terms of texture quality and how they interact with light. In fact overall textures and objects tend to look more grounded in the remaster because of how they interact with the lighting.
