Go to folder with game files. Then to folder Bin64. Right click on Crysis2Remastered.exe
Go to properties. Second teb (compatibility), select run in compatibility mode Windows 7 or 8. That helps me when I got same problem.

What's it doing? Crashing to the desktop when you start it?

no. Steam says it's running but nothing happens. think it does some progressing cause my fans starts working.
I would try verifying the game files first and if that doesn't work take a look at installing/repairing your redist files, which are required for start up. When a game has problems starting, missing or corrupt redist are often the culprit.

already did. no result.
If those two things don't work try a clean install of your GPU drivers.
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html This is what I used. And just to be sure, you updated/repaired the vc++, .net framework and directx files?

EDIT: Be careful with DDU if you decide to go that route. Make sure you follow all of the instructions to the letter, especially about creating a restore point before making any changes to your PC with the app.

think there might be somethin wrong with the GPU driver. cause last time i run C2, was with the old version of my Graphic driver.
Sometimes when games get updates the old drivers don't work as well. It might not be a problem with drivers, but updating them is something that should be done occasionally and especially if you are having problem. Is there a reason you are hesitant to update them?

If you haven't updated your drivers before then I can help, especially if it's an Nvidea driver. What kind of GPU is it?

GTX 1650
I don't know how to get the drivers if the nvidea site is blocked. The latest version is 527.56 for Windows 10. You can see what your version is by opening the Nvidea Control Panel and clicking the System Information button in the lower left corner.

thanks, i'll manage somehow.
But if getting the driver is not possible, then I would run this from the admin command prompt to make sure it's not a corrupted system file: sfc /scannow
Then try a clean uninstall of the game including the registry entries. Again, be careful when doing this and make a restore point in case you damage your registry. After you get a complete and clean uninstall of the game then reinstall it.

EDIT: You may have to disable any cloud services including Steam's game cloud service, so no files or folders will be replaced after you delete them.
