A simple fix to get rid of hackers

Sledgehammer needs to add a "Vote to kick" option. That would take care of sooooo many issues with hackers and cheaters. Also, Steam needs to +10up on the VAC anti-cheat .

I get labelled a hacker at least once a game, I live stream...have an active 5+ year old steam account and yet GOD FORBID you are better then other people. Vote to kick will ruin pro FPS players like myself who love to play solo. I hate hackers, but maybe introducing an anticheat system into the game itself is the better option...or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ maybe dedicated servers so nublets can't just autovote anyone who gets a headshot on them.

No offense 88Mike, but lets put our "thinking caps" on. If color texting is being used, what do you think they were trying to do in the first place? Any form of cheating or manipulation of online play should be bannable. Lets be real, cheating in online games has been around a very long time. But its easier to control more on a console than its is on pc. PC also has a very easy way of ridding yourselves of cheaters in lobbies...hence, the vote to kick option. The problem is...
A) Some dont want it because theyre afraid to get kicked even when they are not cheating
B) Developers dont add it

I played battlefield modern combat for years on console and it had a vote to kick option. When i would beast on there, NOONE would vote to kick me. Most people would just rage quit or respectfully stay in the game. The only people getting kicked were cheaters and people who were flashing banging their own team continuously or the ones annoying other players to the max. In every shooter i play that has a vote to kick option, ive never got kicked beasting...not once.

You guys are overlooking the fact that dedicated servers were the best way to keep hackers away. Some of you say to quit making games for PC? What do you think got you guys on console any kind of a multiplayer online FPS games. To say to quit making the COD series or other games for PC is ridiculous. Thats like us saying they should take the games away from console because they started out on PC, doesn't make much sense does it? I have been gaming for years and the best experience was on dedicated servers with admins. The most consistent ping since you had a browser to choose the servers you wanted to connect to and even add them to your favorites in some games. They have had more problems with hackers in these games since they took servers away from us then they ever did before when we had admins to kick/ban people. There is also just as much complaining about hackers on console as there is on PC also. At least half the complaints come from console or more and thats alot since they do sell alot more console games than they do PC anymore. Some of you guys (or alot) probably were not around for back in the MOHAA days when there were thousands of people playing all day and night or Call of Duty-Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I was in a clan that had at least 10 servers between the 2 series and we never had any complaints. Whether you want to believe it or not the only true way to keep hackers out of the game was to have dedicated servers with admins. These companies just dont want to have to give a master copy of there games to the server companies anymore and they want you to get sick of the games so that you buy the next one the next year. It's all and only about the money now.

You guys act like they can just hit one button and the hackers will be gone. Hackers will always be around as long as there are PC games to use hacks on it sucks but thats the way it is. The developers are trying to get rid of hackers but it takes time and after they get rid of one 2 more pop up its almost a losing battle. Only thing i can think of is to do lots of patchs so the hackers have to always update the hacks maybe they will get tired of fixing the hacks and give up but i doubt it would work.

You say as long as there are PC games to use hacks on, you ever look at xbox and Ps4 hackers on youtube...dont really think it is only a PC issue. I believe it is on all platforms not just one or the other. I have talked to 2 notorius hackers ( Mr.Dew / Blinky) that will actually say something back to you in game and there reason is that game keys are so cheap to buy anymore that they dont really care if they get banned. Anyone that has been playing for awhile knows who these 2 are.
