Diamond Camo

I seem to have got diamond camo on a gun, but I did not complete one camo, the kryptic one that requires sliding. Is this a bug? or are they giving it because the sliding one is a bug?

You only have to complete the number of camo unlocks it says needed for diamond, and when you prestige you can earn one you've already earnt before and it will count towards what is needed for diamond. So lets say there's a camo for 10 dog fight medals, you complete it and are now 1 out of 7 camo challenges towards diamond, you could earn NO more camos for that gun but you prestige 7 more times and each prestige you get a single dog fight medal and it will give you that camo challenge again bringing you to 2, 3, 4 etc etc of the way through the challenges needed for diamond. I hope I explained that alright.

still confused, diamond says Unlock All Camos for this gun, yet I don't have Kryptec Nepture

Yep, my explanation of how it works explains why you have it without that camo.

The diamond camo is buggy.

Technically you don't need to 'Unlock All Camos'. You need to do 7 camo challenges . For better view look up the challenges in game menu in operator/ challenges/ weapons/ your weapon.

These challenges, if completed, reset every time you prestige.

So the bug is: you dont need to complete every one of them. You may keep completing even just 1 of those challenges again and again and it will count towards those 7 needed for diamond camo.

My guess is you completed 6 out of 7 challenges (without the sliding one), prestige and then you did either hip fire or dog fighting one again. That's 7 out of 7 challenges needed for diamond camo.

I got diamond for the Stinger, and I only defeated 1 goliath out of 5 needed for a camo. I think it's a bug, but I'm not complaining xD

The challenges are bugged in this game for sure, I have a video of me picking up a weapon from a dead enemy, getting 1 kill and completing the challenge for getting 5 kills in a row with a picked up enemy weapon.

All of my stuff was unlocked in a hacked lobby too so challenges are pointless for me.

This has do to with prestige. Each time you prestige-ing, some wrong calculations happening. This actually ruining the fun of getting gold/diamond set of clothes.
