anyway to cap FPS on 60 ?
I know all of you want 1200430 fps .. but is there anyway to cap fps on 60 other than toggling the Vsync which produces some mouse input problems ? my GPU is radeon HD 7970 ghz

appreicate any useful comments related to the subject.

EDIT: thanks every1 for AMD users you can use Radeon pro and turn on DFC. create profile and locate advanced warefare multiplaeyr executable file and turn DFC and limit the frames to whatever u desire.

Doesn't the refresh rate setting limit it?

having 60 hz refresh rate but u will be able to play with higher frames .. but the game will not be as smooth if you played on 120 hz and 60 fps., which is what i'm trying to accomplish

Asus GPU tweak allows you to set the maximum framerate without vsync

Nvidia users (like myself) have to use Adaptive Vsync in order to eliminate tearing if we want to play with refresh rates over 60. I have a 144Hz monitor and can run the game at 90fps, but without AV, I get tearing if I put in-game Vsync "on".

MSI Afterburner might have something similar for AMD cards...

I set mine to 75 with vsync, 60fps smooth no input lag.

Ok i figured it out,
Radeon Pro has a feature called DFC ( dynamic framerate control )
it locks it on 60 fps which makes the game smoother with 120 hz.

as for tearing, i only notice that when games are capped at 30 fps and below. like Naruto shippuden.
