Hack COD AW --Please don't
I had a really good game all day yesterday on COD AW but you know what its like you get certain individuals who constantly always seem to know where you are or who turn around and kill you with a single shot. I was just looking at this hacking site where they try and justify it

http://hackerbot.net/fps/cod/call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-codaw

It amused me this comment from a happy purchaser, "Good Job :] Only site I really trust when it comes to my cheating needs. I think its good that you urge people to show respect. Many people hate hackers because of those few that act like ducks. Most uf us actually don't wnat to be annoying."

FFS just play the game the way its meant to be played and don't cheat. Everyone gets good with a few upgrades and practice there is no reason to cheat.

I suppose there are people out there who have the fastest, most expensive PCs and the fastest broadband, fibre connections available and so will have a slight advantage but they will be few and far between. These pervasive hacks are ruining multiplayer games on the PC.

I don't know how often these cheats are used on consoles but its almost driving me to buy a console, dare I say it, where at least in hardware terms its a more an even playing field but I hate using a games controller.

If Steam's new Linux based gaming OS can incorporate some sort of anticheat mechanism that will be a step forward.

don't kid yourself i have faster then 95 percent of Canada Internet and unless I'm host (in which case everyone has a blast) the fast connection does nothing for me, if anything it makes me worse because of the slower connections that I'm playing with.

EDIT: 93 pct of Canada (people are catching up a bit)

I read somewhere that COD AW multiplayer was sensitive to FPS rates and so it will give people with fast setups a bit of an advantage? By how much I don't know. But my point was more the use of hacks which give people an unfair advantage as clearly illustrated in the pictures in the link above.

Its not hacking it is aim assist. COD has allowed controllers to use aim assist so one button to aim and the other to shoot, they dont even have to try.

mainly showing this stuff because people have said maybe its your internet bro to me, when clearly its not, my stuff is awesome and the fact I have a horrid experience online is retarded.

people round corners and I can already be hard scoping the corner waiting and i fire 5 shots and only the first one hits them and im dead on killcam.

anyone running below 90 fps locked is desynced, however i run locked 90.

this is old knowledge to me as someone who played COD4 competitive scene with 255 fps, I'm well aware of what strafe jumping is, the limitations of the COD engine and what benefits having fast and stable fps brings... its other people that have no clue what they are talking about.

back when you could bring up a lagometer you could see the desync at below the locked frame rate, but there will always be morons who say the eye can't see x amount of frames, like the eye actually has anything to do with the internal workings of the game engine or something.

Jesus Christ, dude, get over it! Keep your opinions to your own thread. Why do you insist on PC gaming being as exclusive as possible? Why are you trying to keep people out? What the hell does it matter if someone uses a gamepad to play instead of a mouse? They could very easily be playing on a TV. What if someone has wrist issues that makes it painful to play with a mouse? A controller is a huge boon to them. But no matter the reason, it's irrelevant.

I mean, FFS, it's CoD, not Counter-Strike. Stop acting like PC gaming is this last bastion of hope for hardcore users. It's just another console (a better, more diverse one) with which to play games on. And again....it's CoD we're talking about.
there are downfalls to using a gamepad over K/M, if aim assist was not present then playing with a gamepad would not be a possibility for 99.9 pct of the gamepad users.

however keep that in mind when you see a killcam with something that looks aimbotty, it could be the aim assist, if it works like every other COD game does with aim assist they still need to raise sights while pointing at you and if there are multiple targets splitting the aim assist may cause them to miss.

tbh I'm a big K/M gamer but I've been thinking of just pluggin my gamepad in and playing that way might be a bit more relaxing to play more "casual"

:P

I played on pad to test that idea. Yeah auto aim helps a little but you are at a severe disadvantage vs moving / jumping targets. Over all its not enough to offset KB/M accuracy. Hacking for now is a rampant problem. We just gotta wait for the first few ban waves to weed out people.

Just place an icon in the corner so we know they are using aim assist, problem solved, and ill post where the ♥♥♥♥ i want ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
also to OP stop spreading links to hack sites, hopefully a moderator will delete any links to hack sites.

How does knowing you are playing vs a pad user matter? If you are using KB/M you will have the upper hand in almost any situation. Aim assist or not.
Chameleon_Silk I know what you mean but they are not hard to find just you use Google that was one of many I found. Possible users should also be careful a lot of them could be phishing sites whereby they will down load password logging software, bots, trojans, adware etc, onto your PC or maybe just take your money and run. You also have to be careful a lot of these phishing sites are unsafe even to open. I'm not saying this one is it could be a "genuine" game hacking software but how do you know unless you are confident enough to reverse engineer the code?
