Mouse Acceleration [Fix]
First of all you need to locate you're COD:AW Config file. This can be found -

Steam\steamspps\common\Call Of Duty Advance Warfare\players2\config_mp.cfg

Change these 3 inputs to "0"

cl_mouseAccel "0" (should be 0 by default)
cl_pitchspeed "0" (Default 140)
cl_yawspeed "0" (Default 140)

Save.

Then right click you're config_mp.cfg file and go into properties > Click on "Read Only" and apply.

Now im pretty sure this solved the issue for me. However i also took some extra steps to try and solve the issue before doing previous step.

- Shadowplay - OFF
- Steam Overlay - OFF (Steam > settings > in-game > enable steam in game overlay uncheck)
- Changed my polling rate on my mouse through its own programme to 125 Hz.
- Changed my moniters refresh rate to 75 Hz through in game video settings.
- installed MarkC Mouse Acceleration windows fix. -http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.co.uk/2010/04/markc-mouse-acceleration-fix-builder.html

To test to make sure my mouse was working properly before i went into a MP game, i changed to borderless window screen mode. (This only works with dual monitor setup). Get you're mouse so you can see the window cursor on you're secondary monitor and the in game cursor on you're primary monitor. Run the cursor up and down you're screen, there should be no delay from the ingame cursor and it should follow the window cursor in parallel.

Hope this information helped! i know it can be frustrating as you just want to play the game and not fiddle around getting it to work (which you shouldent have to do!)

i have mouse delay/lagg. If i do that it will be fixed?
QuackMonkey Mar 8, 2015 @ 7:44am
Zeus, doing the above should help. Also make sure your mouse lag isn't due to Vsync being ON.

Hi Guys,
I have tried a lot of the things and methods posted online on various websites,
But I haven't had one solution FIX Officially
I tried disabling the "Razer Stats" in the Razer Syanpse Software by Razer
It did me a little favor by "not sure completely" but lowering the acceleration but NOT fixing the main issue.

I have tried the following
1. lowering polling rate
2. Editing and making config.mp file to "Read-only" and editing Yaw and pitch to "0"
3. Disabling all background software.

this issue for me is still persisting in COD :MW3 /AW and Black OPS II

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Should we wait for the next patch ? <<<<<<<<<<<<

OR
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Is there a SOLID FIX for this?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Thank You,
INT
