anyone get stuck in spectate mode?

got stuck in spectate mode i change loadout but I never spawn in team death match and i don't get a spawn timer

happened once hit esc and chose class put me right back in.

this has happened twice already.
It won't let me play at all when I party up with a friend.

Happened to me a few times today.. not sure how to fix it...

My first day of multiplayer:
1. wait forever to find a server
2. enter server in spectator mode
3. find no on-screen instructions for joining a team
4. find no key binding to "change teams"
5. get kicked for inactivity
...repeated 3 times in a row, same results

happened to me just now. I tried to choose class too, but it didn't work. still stuck in spectate

happens to me alot pressing fire button seems to throw me back in, so left mouse after the timer (if your playing tdm)
