Tips on how to quickscope at long range?
I had been using the MORS, but I couldn't do what this guy was doing.

And yes, I had been practicing. I could not quickscope as perfectly as this guy, certainly not at medium to long range.

Tips appreciated.

this is not quickscoping. just get better. every noob can snipe in this game. easy as ♥♥♥♥

looks like he was the host. also that was on a consol so, aim assist.

This was on PC, we got mowed down by this player.

I tried to emulate the shots in the last scene, QS then turn and QS shoot, with 2 kills just like that.

I couldn't even get close, I don't think I could get 2 kills like this.

Does PC have aim assist? Is this legal? How do we turn aim assist on or off?

Paint a dot in the middle of your screen. Have this dot already on the enemy before you scope in. And then use "black scoping"...

This video explains a lot on how this guy did it.

I'm not really a QS fan, but I'll have this at the back of my mind when I get killed this way.

In the last death in my video, I'm wondering how this guy even knew I was there? For him to QS his first target, he had to be focused on him; this guy was too quick, he QS killed the first guy, then turned and QS killed me in a short time.

It's interesting that the KillCam does not show the black scope when he shot.

Isn't this how quick scoping always worked?

I suck at sniping in COD games but always read quick scopers will usually have something on their monitor (tape or something) to do a quick easy center check, line up the shot, start to aim down site and shoot pretty much instantly.

I watched a couple of QS videos before, I gathered if you don't ADS the spread is very wide, that you will miss even if the target is right in front of you. So some people suggested putting target in center, then fire during black scope, and this will be more accurate than hip firing.

The video by h4s1p4s1 is the first one I saw alluding to an aim assist.

I play to entertain myself, I am not putting tape on my monitor just to QS.

What do you mean?

I don't see the pros having this problem, and they use controllers.

there are no pros with controller. aim assist in AW should be called aimbot. its stronger than ever before. in pc world this is called cheating. so shame on those ''pros''.
all i can say is practice,practice,practice. and if you fail just let it go and play with different guns and playstyles. everybody just cant be good at everything. i bet this sniper in the video suck at rushing. so there you go.

This isn't quickscoping. Quickscoping is a trick common on consoles that takes advantage of the aim assisisting present on the non-PC versions. Basically ADSing gives sniper rifles perfect accuracy, combine this with the snap-on aim assist makes this a reliable way to kill people with high damage weapons. The person you showed didn't do this. He actually aimed after looking down sights (hard aiming) and looked like he had decent accuracy.

You mean PC does not have aim assist?

I tried the same shots from the same location in a Private Match. It was very difficult getting the second shot where I intended it to land, the way this guy did it.

Have you tried the jump aim down scope and shoot the way this guy did? i don't know how he did it. When I try it, I lose my bearings when I'm zoomed in.

Please try the actual moves then tell me it's possible and that I really suck with the MORS.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
