Best Call of Duty Game for the PC?

Alright I need some major help, I really wanna buy a Call of Duty game for the PC, to be totally honest with you I've NEVER played a COD title. I just need some feedback, basically my question is which is the best Call of Duty game for the PC? That includes the campaign, multiplayer, graphics etc. I need the COD title that has the full package. Oh and if you could also let me know of some other dope fps for the PC that would be a major help!

Battlefield series is the rival of COD series.. and i personally prefer BF.. If u want a fast paced shooter then stick to COD.. Also to answer which COD, stick to the latest as most players would jump to the latest series as well...

Depends on what you like really. COD4MW is a classic with still among the highest playerbase even compared to newer CODs, and it has a server browser. BO2 was a favorite with many and probably still is. I dunno how AW's player base will finallly turn out - and that is if you like futuristic-ish shooters.
Don't choose the game based on what people say about cheaters - every fps game has got cheaters you cant deny that - cant really say one COD game is extremely significantly better than others in terms of anti-cheat.

Other fps's for the PC? Difficult to say because it depends on personal taste - what are your current favorite shooters?

Maybe you should check out too Insurgency (CS + BF + ARMA mixture, but faster paced than ARMA). It runs on the Source engine. You may not like it, but its worth a try since it doen't cost much.

Okay, so I've narrowed it down Ghosts or Black Ops 2?

Many people personally prefer BO2 for the faster paced gameplay.

Fact: BO2 is one of the best optimized COD for PC, while Ghosts is most probably the worst.

I have both and like both for its own type of gameplay. But while BO2 took only 5 minutes for me to play around with its settings to get it right for my PC, Ghosts took about 30 hours of tweaking and surfing everywhere on the internet looking for solutions, and also waiting for 6-8 months worth of patches - and still it doesn't play as smooth and pretty as BO2.

Why suggest to the OP a sheep mentality? Just because it is the newest does not neceserally imply it is the best. COD Black Ops 2 still has a large support and is a bargain at the moment. COD Advanced Warfare is riddled with bugs and had its player base decline the fastest out of all the COD games. Just wait untill DLC packs come out - this will further split the already small community.

Sp game wise
CoD MW 1 and CoD MW 2 are the best ,,
CoD WaW is also pretty good ..

Mp wise everytthing starting with and after CoD MW 2 is client based multi player .. and is ususally pretty bad ,
CoD 4 is the last decent multi player Cod game but I dont know how large the player base is ..

honest opinon .. if you never played CoD it's already past it's prime and overpriced compared to what's out there. there's better Sp games and better Mp games as well ..

Black ops 2 or advanced warfare. If you add the extra £15 you get zombies in advanced warfare so its not all bad :D If i were you it would be advanced warfare due to controller support.

COD4MW has got approximately 10,000 (plus-minus).
But yeah, COD is way past it prime.
