They want to fill up the discs on the console versions, even with junk, as a result the PC versions also end up large.
It will be a new standard. So complaining about this would be useless.
It's not the new standard its becuase game develpoers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy. leaving the adudio uncompressed is a way for consoles to gain a couple frames so rather then optimize their game better they just do that.
Mind-boggling.
I also read on this forum that the game has huge texture files because it supports 4K resolution.
