Wont let me Shoot zip line

Game was working great, until; I got to the part where you have to shoot the zip line from the helicopter. It says to hit the left mouse button, but it wont shoot the zipline. I shut the game down then restarted and it still does it. ANy ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

Aim it to the ground right in front of you, not further. You won't miss the area which makes your zipline aim circle green.

Yeah, that got me too because it does not highlight where it allows you to actually fire the damn thing.
