recoil is extremely low for some weapons yes

They have cetainly dumbed it down and made the guns very easy to use. It's what the console MLG community wanted so Sledgehammer instantly bowed to this demand.

To be honest recoil always looks non-existant when viewing the videos. i had the same thoughts when watching trailers for the past 6 Duty´s. We´ll see how it is ingame, and i think it´ll be hard enough to hit people as the game seems to be more fast paced than any previous CoD. Movement will be part of gunfighting now.

Cod has generaly poor recoil itd be too dificult for "pros" to handle. though there is random patten in recoil as you start fireing, you can try this out on a wall. it could go up a bit or up alot or pretty much center or to the right. never left though xP its clear on weapons like Scar or MSMC, as you might of felt it in some matches where shots go bang straight in a gun fight then somtimes its just going all over the place xD

Would futuristic weapons have less recoil technology?.
Maybe the hitboxes are different now ? So that would explain the no recoil.

Recoil isn't a good idea in games with fast movement and verticality.

suppose when you think about it quake and unreal didnt have much of a role with recoil on their guns, but hit spread?

Well, my take on that is that the recoil effects are intended.

1: It's Advanced Warfare. You'd expect advanced weapons and advanced body suit's etc... To have recoil reduction etc.

2: I saw something a while ago that, apparently, now you wear combat exo-skeletal suit's, or something along those lines. If you do wear "Power Suit's" (Which is an idea that I think they borrowed from Elysium), then the power suits would be able to compensate for recoil effects.

3: No point calling it "Advanced Warfare" if it's still the same as the original Warfare from MW2.
