3 Display : 5760x1080 Missing Menu Options?
When I went into COD:AW everything was stretched at 1920x1080. I hit ESC and set the video to 5760x1080. It looked and plays awesome! The only problem is that once in 5760x1080 the menus are all stretched and half of them are missing off the top of the screen.

Now that I exited the game, I can't get back in or reset the video resolution from inside the game. any ideas to get it back to 1920x1080 outside the game, and how to prevent this in the future?

I was thinking of running in Windowed Mode, and trying from there, but I see the menu's to get it there. I've got 2 GTX970's.

Any Help is greatly Appreciated.

This is a solution to a few differing issues in regards to .cfg file corruption that I've posted previously in the forums. This directly applies to you as well and will rectify your issue. I've posted this in full in the case that someone else runs into the issue, so they'll have the entire temporary solution.

Have a nice day.

There's a work around that temporarily solves this issue. Yet, know first that this is due to a file corruption error that Sledgehammer/Activision has never corrected. With that being said, each time you recieve this error, you'll have to perform it again.

  1. Go to your game library details view.

  2. With your mouse, hover over Advanced Warfare

  3. Right click and select "Properties"

  4. In the local tab, select "Browse local files"

  5. Open the "Players2" folder

  6. Delete the "config_mp.cfg" file

Restart Advanced Warfare and a new "config_mp.cfg" will be generated. If promted to run in safe mode, select "no" and launch the game.

Note that, this will create a new "config_mp.cfg", thus your graphics and voice settings will need to be set once again, each time you perform this. No other settings such as keyboard configurations or gamepad configurations will be changed during this process.

Anyone using third party overclocking software must follow the extra steps below

Also note that if you utilize any third party overclocking software such as MSI Aferburner, that any overclocks you use must be applied prior to relaunching the game after you have deleted the "config_mp.cfg". That means, you must perform everything in this order if utilizing overclocking software.

Restart MSI Afterburner, apply the overclocks, perform steps 1-6, then restart Advanced Warfare.

Unfortunately, same results... I was thinking it may have been corrupted too. If anyone has any other ideas....
