Really enjoyed this! Any sequel plans?
I must say, i really enjoyed the storyline.. I haven't really played any "indie" games before, but this game on the store page looked exactly that what i had been looking for, however i must say i had my doubts at the first due the cheap price. Anyway, i bought it and played it non-stop to the end :D

Now that i have enjoyed the storyline and missions given by "Control", i can't wait for the sequel.. What is she planning to do next?

I'm sorry that you're disliking the game so much. Sadly there isn't much we can (or want) to do about the, 'neon light'. However, the controls problem is a bit more of a concern.

What control method are you using? We've found, just around the office, that some people just don't get on with certain control methods. For example, I'm a gamepad man, I hugely dislike using the mouse + keyboard for SSZ, and I positively feel like a ham-fisted buffoon if I try to use joystick.

Conversely, some people love the keyboard + mouse and hate the gamepad, etc.

If there are any particular problems you feel need addressing and have suggestions for them, we're quite willing to implement them and patch the game if it makes sense to do so.

Mark me down as someone else who is looking forward to a sequel.

Regarding the controls, I didn't like them at first. I chose to play this game with a Logitech Rumblepad 2 (wireless), and needed to redo some of the key bindings to make a bit more sense (for exampling, swapping the left and right directional sticks). It occurred to me that I might stop playing due to the controls, but I held out. I figured it was just a learning curve, and that the game would be very satisfying once I got over it.

I was right, but what I didn't expect was that the learning curve would continue up until the end of the game. Usually I'll feel that I've mastered a control scheme for a game within an hour or two, but it took me until near the middle of Strike Suit Zero to feel simply comfortable; even now, having done 7.5 hours on the game, I think there's more I could learn to really master it.

I don't know that there's much that can be done to improve things, though. I don't think I've ever played a game that made use of practically every single button on the gaming controller, including both directional sticks (and pressing down on them). It stands to reason that there will be a learning curve with something like that. The only way to reduce the learning curve would be to remove some functionality, but that risks "dumbing down" the game and making it a bit less fun overall.

Im beginning to really love this game now im close to the end but for me im finding it very hard, the missions are so long and at first go im struggling to get through without using a continue.... this isnt a complaint mind, I love that. I also only have 2 upgrades and im now on mission 12 so thats probaly adding to the diffuculty. Im only playing it on normal though. Ive just got gold medals in my last 2 missions which im pretty proud of. Now ive figured it out I really do love it

One thing though, you should be able to target friendly ships, at times you lose your bearings

Best space sim game since freespace 2

Bit dissapointed with the final mission, figured there would be a boss fight or something
Love the game! I'd be happy to buy new DLC on a monthly basis, or new game modes (if the engine allows for it). I hope sales are good and new content is produced regularly!

("The Gew", please don't derail threads and create a new one if you want to complain about the controls. Truthfully, the controls are fine, and this is an incredibly easy game as far as space sims go. If you find it difficult, space sims aren't your forte - this game uses FAR less controls and is FAR less complicated with a much smaller learning curve than, say, Freespace 2.)
