Strike Suit Zero
Custom resolutions / Multiple Monitors
I have not yet been able to figure out how to setup the game to support my multiple monitors, though i think this is due to the faction they are set to 2 different sizes 1920x1080 and 1440x900, they are aligned properly though so if i had some sort of way to customize the resolutions sizes i would just lose a top and border on the bigger monitor.

TL;DR Any help to setup a custom resolution would be appreciated.

Are you using AMD or Nvidia graphics?
For most games, you need essentially one screen that is stretched across multiple displays, hence eyefinity and 2/3d surround, so you'll need to use one of these tools.
I believe Nvidia surround is picky about having identical displays and requires three screens, and I have no idea about eyefinity as I don't use AMD graphics.
It may be possible to do it across two different screens, but it would probably require both screens to have the same input resolution, which would presumably mess up the scale between the two screens.

The exception to the rule (afaik) is supreme commander that allows two separate screens at native resolution on each, though it is not just showing the one thing, which is why it is possible.
I was just hoping for a way to setup a custom windowed game screen so i can just place it, and get it to both my desktops that way, it is what i do in other games and it works out just fine.

I use AMD/ATI graphics by the way. (eyefinity also requires same res)

Yeah, I just thought about windowed mode too.
With XP's nvidia drivers, you could setup the entire windows environment to work across two monitors as one screen, giving for example 2048x768 (for two 1024x768 monitors). Nvidia stopped supporting this post XP though, can your card/drivers do this? If so, then there should be an extra resolution setting that matches your dual-screen setup, and you can drag the windowed screen across your two monitors.

edit: same res eh.? let me look into it, there may be a way to force the game into a higher/custom res

Although im currently running on windows 7 pro (64bit), and most the settings scale it so the shape would be the same as if i did it with the current drivers (left side would not be bordered but enlarged). I am using 2 monitors that are not the same size which is why I usually run it in windowed mode. (3300x840 for example)

Samsung 24" SMBX2431 (1920x1080) and the Asus 19" VH198T (1440x900)

Figured it out. Props to GMMan for figuring out how to read the settings file / resolution offsets.

If you copy this file[dl.dropbox.com] to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\strikesuitzero\pc\main\Binary" then you'll have your 3300x840 windowed resolution. If you want another resolution, then let me know, or have a go at hex-editing the file: details here[www.gog.com]

Once in, you'll probably want to turn on multi-monitor mode in the settings

Yes Hello i am also having that same issure apparently the resolution standard to this game is too large for my toaster , can i get some say 1040 x 1224? or anything lower like 800 x 960 please message me back soon i wanna play this game so bad x-x..
I've updated the file with the game set to the lowest built-in resolution [grab from the link above]
I wrote a quick program to change the resolution. It currently only does full screen and resolution, but it's expandable for the future if the need arises. Source code included.

Note that if your resolution height is the same as the native resolution height, and is fullscreen, the game will use your native resolution instead. That means no 1024*768 on a 1366*768 screen.

Note about the name: it stands for Quick Resolution Changer, but just mangled. Don't ask me why.
Nice. I'd have written something like this myself but too busy not doing coding work for my course.
Good job, and thanks.

bald i put the file in the correct place the settings.sav only problem is my game boots up as white screen then crashes x-x... and yes i got directx11 so i dunno what the hells wrong with it
Unsupported resolution? Try setting it to start windowed, or with a different yet standard resolution.
I actually used the game to get that settings.sav file so unsure as to why there would be problems. Try using GMman's program to change the resolution as he suggested. If all else fails, then verify integrity of steam cache and try from the top. The problem could be elsewhere.
If that still doesn't work, try running dxdiag (just type into start menu). Grab a full copy of the output and put in pastebin.org or similar and post the link here so I can take a look.
