Become a painting (Link Between Worlds style)
So Juice, straight up you gave me this idea because I saw your reply in a post about a sequel.

An awesome addition would be the cave-painting movement mechanic similar to the one in "A Link between Worlds". I forget exactly how it worked in that game, but you could implement it in a way that adds to both combat and puzzles. It could be useful in combat if normal enemies can't hit you while you are a painting, you could add enemies that are paintings. Then of course it could be used for puzzles for crossing gaps, sneaking by other obstacles like a fire wave or spike roller.

A link between worlds is my favorite 2D Zelda, and I totally agree!! It would be an amazing mechanic
