What is soundscan?

I have no idea what this feature is other than playing random songs with modifiers.
What do you need the points for? What are B Tickets?

Soundscan is a gamemode primarily for unlocking collaboration songs from different rhythm games, along with some other stuff including titles and increases to your maximum battery/point storage.

The points you earn progress the Soundscan that you’re playing, unlocking new songs.

Harder songs are worth more soundscan points, thus unlocking rewards quicker, and B Tickets apply a multiplier to the points you earn for 1 song (Equip the ticket in the setting menu that pops up when you choose from the selection of 3 songs).
