Soo, whats up with those malware/bitcoin miner accusations? Game eats alot of GPU power and thats a little sus

Apparently it switches your power plan to high performance if you have it on balance. According to the devs it's was a mistake left there during development, and it wasn't meant to be released in a public build.

It seems the dev responded with a post in the news section but then deleted it along with various discussions on the forums... I want to give the benefit of the doubt but why are they deleting information and hiding questions instead of answering them?

ZC.exe seems to be running in the background and doesn't shut down with the game. Something is up

Actually not really, someone dug into it, it's just the exe that opens the game. There's a coding mistake in it that doesn't close it once the game starts up, but if you monitor it in task manager, it uses almost no resources to run, it's also why sometimes people will have higher play times even though they didn't play the game that long.
