I just realized something (spoilers)

I was listening to some guy's Let's Play for this game, and he got to the part where Hyun-Ae shows him the big secret about what her family did to her. I can't believe I never made the connection when I played this game several times in the past, but I started wondering about whatever happened with the Empress's investigation into this very matter. Then I remembered that the next entry about her (after the one where she convinces her husband to let her ask the Kims about why Hyun-Ae doesn't talk) was after her death... and I never made the connection.

I'm probably an idiot for having never realized this, but the Kims totally murdered the Empress for asking inconvenient questions. They probably bribed the coroner too, which I thought of just now while reading Kyung-sam's message (first one in the game) about how after Sang-jung drank himself to death, "Apparently they had even found a doctor willing to publish such nonsense on the official record".

Anybody else manage to miss this?
