MERCHANT MARINE
I really became hypertention from these units .
when i am selecting units for sea transit just load and unload in the same sea port i have to move every one by one .
please chris find a way to delete this unit from this game or fix it as soon as possible . the game by this way became very hard to play .

They said its on their critical priority list to fix the issue. I have since stopped playing it because when someone declares war on you and allies cant even send ships because they just get stuck in a loop its not worth playing.

Loving the game BUT...
What's with the merchant marines loading and unloading at the ports? I should have been destroyed by now. LOL

Yeah i got an issue as well where the merchant marines, tens of units at a time, would just go in and out of sea ports or naval production yards. Just doing that for months and years. In out in out. Sometimes the land units around it as well would be driving in circles for months. I'd have 1500 units and 400 of them would be the merchant marines doing the loop. Would be nice if there was an option in the game start to enable/disable merchant marines altogether, so that units - who want to be transported - would need a landing craft or transport ship in order to get from Destination A to B.

totaly agree with you .
the biggest issue in this game is the merchant marine make the game more laggy more unstable and not realistic in wars .
i usualy loosing all my army by one submarine only when i send my army by sea merchant marine only one not seen submarin kill all of them very stupid unit .

the best way of sea transportation was in supreme ruler 2010 you just give the order and the AI will do the rest .

Here is an imgur. The Red lines are pointing to boxes. Each box are merchant marines bugged - coming in and out of ports in a cycle. Each box is 10 - 30 units
