changing the resolution

anybody know if theres a way to do this? the default resolution is way to high for my computer to handle. I even tried changing it in the config file which works for most games but it just changes it back to original one. This game has to have the absolute worst options for video in pc gaming history.

Yeah like i said everythime i change it in the config file it just changes it back to the defaut when i start the game.

The game is designed for Tablets. In the config you can find options for tablet setups also. So this game being terrible graphically suddenly makes a lot of sense.

Also try setting the resx and resy as the required resolution, as well as changing the first entry about max quality to true.

There are some further modifications you can do to improve your gaming experience.
-MaxAnisotropy=16
-bAllowTemporalAA=True
-AllowD3D11=True

Then apply SweetFX on top and the game actually looks pretty good. Some racy scenes in this game though. I get the feeling they censored it before release.

The games textures need an overall in general, as does its pacing and storytelling. Its generally not a very well made game.

You can tweak the ini and add as many extra features as you like, but unless the modelling and textures are given a serious HD overhaul for PC, it's going to look horrid. It may just look like a polished turd, instead of a normal one.

Once again changing the resolution in the .ini file results in it just changing back to the default one everytime you start the game. usually works for every other game using the unreal engine, but of course not for the game that doesn't have an option for it. I mean seriously what developer doesn't include the most basic option for all pc games.

How to chage the resolution. This works.

First, you need to go in folder : Documents\My Games\Ride to Hell\RTHGame\Config and there open file RTHEngine.ini with notepad, then search for resolution and where is MinAllowableResolutionX=0 , change to MinAllowableResolutionX=1920 and for MinAllowableResolutionY=0 change to MinAllowableResolutionY=1080 for 1920x1080 resolution ! If you want other resolution, for example 1280x720, change 1920 to 1280 and 1080 to 720 and your new resolution will be 720p.
Save file and ...Done.

What you mean is "This game has to be the absolute worst pc game in history" ;)
