Thank you very much, Bonedust. Will give it a try in the morning.
But the product update page lists nothing ...
Nonetheless I contacted at least one of the community managers of DeepSilver to get some feedback to them. We had some similar complaints about the game on the official DS forums, where I moderate. So hopefully we hear some news soon ...
Try going into "..\SteamApps\common\ride_to_hell_retribution\RTHGame\Config". Open "RTHEngine.ini" and find "bForceNoMovies=FALSE". Change this to TRUE and press Ctrl+S to save, and try playing the game till the first gameplay sequence. Quit the game then if you get to the next gameplay part, and go back into the .ini file and change "bForceNoMovies=TRUE" back to "FALSE". Then press Ctrl+S again to save.
I tried that but to no avail. It seems to be RTH.exe just wont work. It actually crashes my computer if I leave it at the loading screen to long. Thank you for your help.
