The Red slime

How do you beat it. I want to like this game but I cannot due to this. I've made a new game several times due to the nature of this game being randomly generated and I keep running into this problem. Help.

Pause the game and put your mouse pointer over the red slime. You will see that it is immune to fire (200% resistance to fire). You will have to find another spell with a different element in order to destroy it.

In this game there are plenty of enemies that are weak and/or immune to specific elements. The game has a robust spell system, so you might want to try out a few of your spells upon encountering new enemies.

You need to go into a nearby building & get to the treasure room, upon doing which you will find a new spell which can slay the red slime. (At least that's what happened for me)

Yeah, if you're talking about the one right in the beginning there's a spell to help you in a house nearby, just backtrack a bit and get it. I missed it the first time too, I don't think that area is random, as it is supposed to be teaching you about the game still.

If it's later in the game (i.e. not the intro) then you may have to come back after finding a new spell (assuming you really have nothing else to use on it).

was the red slime really that hard for people I read the tombstones after defeting it and as I was coming to it and I thought it was a joke. mabey because I compusivly go in every room in every dungon so whatever works for you.

It took me some time to find out until I realized I was reading the minimap all wrong and missed a room.

The red slime is easy.
1.Bravely run
2.Find another spell whose element is not fire.
3.Use it
