lol @ controller , xbox version is that way ------>

You did that on purpose.

To answer the OP, yes it does have controller support and I'd argue it's one of the best controller support implementations I've experienced on PC (beaten only by Metro 2033 in fact).

If you're planning on playing with a controller, I'd suggest taking a look at my controller custom config guide on the regular steam forums.

As seamless as the Witcher 2's controller support is, there are several useless buttons that can be programmed as hotkeys for magical powers. It makes it easier to play a mix of magic and swordplay.

I want to know too since i have recently got the 360 controller, don't worry about the date as long as the discussion is still relevant !
I am using the xbox 360 controller, the one made for the computer, and everything works like it did on the Xbox 360. I don't know about the wired version, but the one with a wirless reciever works.
Yes, I run a wired Xbox360 controller and W2 works good with it.
Even aftermarket ones work, I'm using an Afterglow 360 gamepad.

I am having trouble getting my xbox controller to function with W2 - W3 runs great as well as some other things, but I'm struggling to get the game to recognize the controller more than just using a mouse cursor. Suggestions?

Only thing I can think of is maybe a driver reinstall for the controller? I don't remember doing anything special on mine to get it working, I think it worked right from the get-go. Mine is a generic controller, not one of the special models like the Mad Catz - I used to have to install special drivers to get that one working with games when I had it, so if yours is a special one, you might do some googling to see if there are drivers unique to your model controller.
