Hope this helps.
That's it! TY, Vinthir!!
Soooooooo steam cloud was always enabled but i still cant seem to locate the saved game files within steam/apps/userdata eect w/e. its all f*ckin stupid code. what a stupid mechanic to for a game to create a new file for each save without option to rewrite an old spot. Esp this game. bet all who play/ played this game have nightmares about the "game over" screen. Thus, this game requires a redic amount of saves to avoid having to re-do tedious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in quests, or watch cut scenes over, and over, and over..... can someone help me with this?? cant tell if witcher 2 is more fun than it is stressful and annoying.
Agree totally with what you posted above. The way I found the saves was to open window explorer select C drive then in search libraries box use the code *.sav then click in the box to open it, select date modified select date the game is played and press enter and any games you've played should appear. If its of any help I made a shortcut by right clicking the folder and pasting it on my desktop so I don't have to go through all that again!
I was also struggling with the number of saves and wanted to delete some...
Finally found them in :
****\Steam\userdata\<some other numbers>\20920\remote
Cheers
Got the same problem: couldn´t find this 20920 folder. Like ThanosLPN mentioned, it was in another folder. In my case I found 20920 in 152175554 :-P
Just navigate to ****\Steam\userdata and search for 20920.
Thanks for your help !
:D
~/.local/share/cdprojektred/witcher2/GameDocuments/Witcher 2/gamesaves
thank you very much :)
1. You have to find your steam userid (of your main account). You can use SteamDB extension on Google Chrome to find out your userid numbers. Once you find it, go look for the saves...
So, Witcher 2's saves are located here
:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\userdata\[userid]\20920\remote
You'll have to choose the saves you want from the main account abobe and then copy them to the DESKTOP.
After that, you gonna have to find this location on your PC:
:\Users\[username]\My Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves
Simply grab the files from DESKTOP and paste 'em on the location above. You should be go to go now.
I hope this helps.
