Save Game file locate ?

does anybody know where savegame file is located ? , I have the problem that I've found the save directory C:/users/my document/witcher 2/gamesaves. But ! in the folder in my pc inside the gamesaves is empty. I want to delete all the save game please help me, is there another save location?

Did you enable Steam Cloud? Your saved games would be saved there if it is enabled.

To be sure, you can start a new insane game. Those will not and cannot be stored in the cloud and you can look back in that folder to see if it's there.

No, I didn't enable the cloud. The reason that I want to delete save because there're so many save file and it make the game always crash when loaded. By the way, thank for help :)

also just saying if you dont use steam cloud, it should be in your documents folder, inside of a "witcher 2" file

if you delete the files in that folder, then if you have sync on it will re download all the files back into that folder.

The problem is I can't find the 20920 folder. Why?

I didn't see it either. Open the Start Menu and type 20920 in the Search Programs and Files bar at the bottom and it'll pop up.

Do you guys have Witcher 1 installed as well? If so the saves are in that folder.

I had the same problem with the saved games. I must have enabled the Steam cloud saves because once I went back and disabled it, the save files returned under the load menu.

Not sure if this will apply to Witcher 2, but for those who had asked about where Witcher 1 saves would be. I fould mine in C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\The Witcher Hope that helps :)

i reformatted my PC. Re-installed the game (with backups) but there are no saved games. I always enabled steam cloud sync.
