TROLL TROUBLE
I am only given 2 dialogue options to talk to the troll after I have agreed to stop his drinking problem. Both end up with the troll attempting to kill me. Any help?

You can't avoid fighting him. Mid-health you get a conversation and then you choose whether to help and finish the help quest or kill and start the charm quest.

just make sure if u kill or leave the troll... do the same with the other troll family that you find ahead on the game

You have to fight him once, but in that moment it's impossible to kill him. You'' be able to talk with him again and then you can fight or help him.

i was having this problem as well and ended up running around flotsam asking every innkeep for vodka cause i thought thats what he wanted >_< thanks guys
