Newbee.....how do I find the trolls head?

Hello,
I'm new at The Witcher 2. I battled with the troll and then I offered to find the head of his wife. A few different people in the inn told me that the troll head is probably being used as a trophy.

I have search through every house that I can find. (I'm sure there are more.) Is there some more logical way to go about this search vs. just opening every door in the whole villiage?

1) How do I know where to go?
2) If there is no tool to tell me where to go, can you give me a hint as to where I might find the head?

You should check the houses in Lobinden which is right next to Flotsam.

since you have talked to the troll. go to the tavern and play dice, until you won everyone but the last person in Lobinden. go there, beat him, and there would be a choice to have the troll head as your trophy of winning over him.

Am I the only one that finds it creepy to return the head of the troll's woman to him?

Seriously. If my wife had been murdered and her head mounted on a wall, I definitely wouldn't want it back, except maybe to bury it.
