Carry weight
Quick question.... does Geralt's carry weight ever increase with experience like in Skyrim?

You can spend skill points to get more carry weight, and a certain choice will also boost your carry weight by 50. However since everyone wants to be able to carry as much as possible, it's not really a choice anymore. Another silly design decision from the developers.

Anyway that's pretty much it. Of course there's also the mod that completely removes weight from all items.

Well, ya there's the hoarding syndrome that RPG players have, but the other thing is that when games like this advance theres' usually a greater variety of items to store. Also, more advanced armor and weapons are usually heavier.

How do you spend experience to get more carry weight? I thought the only thing experience was good for was adding perks on that char development tree.

There is only few armors and weapons in TW2, you won't carry loads of them for sure, as for materials (the things that weight more) you can store them in every city (talk to the inkeeper) in a chest that follow you over the adventure, it is, in fact very easy to manage the weight limit of Geralt's inventory, other than that, like CandyTrox said, you can just add a no weight limit mod to the game. :/

There isn't any storage in TW2, unless I missed it and the reviewers I've read with me. The innkeeper in Folstam sure doesn't want to store my stuff, only buy it.

The easier way to manage the materials I've found is to craft what you need as sson as you can, and keep only a few pieces of each prime material. Not perfect, but better than throwing stuff away. Daggers and traps weigh way less than iron and wood.

There is a storage. Flotsam inn, go down the stairs and talk to the innkeeper down there (or whatever he is).

Well, crap. Ok, thanks, I'll check that. I read there wasn't any, and didn't search more once the first innkeeper tested.

yes every Inn/Inn keeper has a storage option.
