If you don't like Ubersampling, just downsample from a lower resolution than one 4x the one of your monitor.
Use ReShade to add FXAA/SMAA/CMAA as needed.
I think I'll try to ignore it for the moment but if it gets worse in more major scenes then I'm trying the alternatives.
Now I strongly disagree with the statement "The Witcher 2 doesn't need a remaster", it really does at least on PC, I don't remember the game looking this bad, back then I played it on 720p mixed settings it looked alright somehow? Maybe it's how we tend to remember things but now at 1080p maxed, it's just painful to look at in some situations.
Turn off the sharpening and use geforce experience sharpen + game filter on default values , it looks much better (the game original sharpening is just bad.)
To change graphics use this one instead of original, it has more information and easier to use.

Highest possible shadows in game ( if your pc potato then you need to modify values )
MaxCubeShadowCount=4
MaxCubeShadowSize=2048
MaxSpotShadowCount=4
MaxSpotShadowSize=2048
ShadowQuality=3
ShadowedLights=4
TextureMemoryBudget=2048
( again if potato pc then make it lower )
The upped saturation also looks better.
Also here is a mod guide , just take what you want and leave the rest , just don't use ai upscale textures mod or you are done for real (unless you want 10 fps on rtx 3080 :0)

My specs are i5 10400f, GTX 1660 ti 6gb, 16gb DDR4 ram - I would say it's all overkill but I still lowered the settings and it's still happening.
Also, I keep getting microstutters and massive FPS drops while loading in new areas in the open world, the game just doesn't run smooth.
Any help here would be appreciated, I don't think I should flood the discussions threads with new topics for a new issue.

DXVK
Use these mods. DXVK is mandatory if you wanna play with uberSupersampling and all maxed out settings, increases performance drastically.
I used 2k textures, 2K shadow maps with uberSupersampling 2, maxed out settings and had 60 fps everywhere against 20 fps without DXVK.
